Good dogs are made
Treats, play and clear communication — no scolding, no shock, no fear. We train the dog in front of us and coach you to keep it up at home.
What we teach
Puppy basics
Sit, down, stay, name recall and polite greetings for pups under 6 months.
Loose-leash walking
Walks without the pulling contest — for city sidewalks and trails.
Reliable recall
A come-when-called your dog actually answers, even at the park.
Polite at home
No jumping, no counter-surfing, calm doorbell behavior that sticks.
Private sessions
One-on-one coaching for reactivity, anxiety or rescue transitions.
Group classes
Small Saturday classes — real-world practice with built-in distractions.
Training, step by step
- Evaluation — we watch, listen and set goals with you in 30 minutes.
- Foundation — marker words, treat timing and focus games in weeks 1–2.
- Real life — practice around distractions: parks, sidewalks, visitors.
- Graduation — test day, report card and a home practice plan.
Training questions
Reward-based training only: food, toys and play paired with clear markers. We never use shock, prong or intimidation — the science (and our graduates) say kindness works better.
Most manners goals take 4–6 weekly sessions plus short daily homework. Reactivity and rescue transitions vary — your evaluation includes an honest estimate.
Please do — you're half the team. Every session ends with a 10-minute handover where you practice the new skill with our coach beside you.
